How to activate BankID for your organization
1. Choose "Use BankID to login to GO" to open the settings. Choose the BankID you want to use.
2. Choose settings how to handle e-mail address
Require verified email address to allow login
Use setting in case you require all users to enter and verify their email address. Use this setting in case you require to connect existing user account to BankID and avoid duplicate user accounts.
a) Existing users: When configuring BankID for the first time, existing users will be asked to provide e-mail address they are registered with in ExorLive Go app and confirm identity with verification code sent to e-mail. This will connect existing account with username and password to BankID
b) New users: When configuring BankID for the first time for new users, he/she will be asked to provide e-mail address and ExorLive will send verification code to e-mail to confirm identity.
Require verified email address to connect the login to an existing account
Use this setting in case you require to connect existing user account to BankID, but e-mail is not mandatory. User can choose not to provide e-mail address but it will allow existing users to duplicate user accounts.
a) Existing users: In order to connect existing account, user must provide e-mail address when configuring BankID for the first time. ExorLive will send verification code to provided e-mail to confirm identity. This will connect existing user accounts with username and password to BankID. In case user does not provide e-mail, new account will be created for this user.
b) New users: When configuring BankID for first time it will be send verification code to provided e-mail to confirm identity.
Ask for email address
Users will be asked to provide e-mail address but verification code will not be sent.
It will allow existing users to duplicate user accounts.
Do not aks for email address
Users will not be asked to provide e-mail address.
It will allow existing users to duplicate user accounts.
